Homework Page
The Newfoundland and Labrador English School District recognizes that homework, when properly administered with appropriate feedback, is a valuable part of the educational process. Homework not only acts as a bridge between home and school in providing information regarding student learning, it also reinforces and practices skills that have already been covered in class. The maximum amount for an elementary student is - 40 minutes.
Students homework will consist of reading for 20 mins, finishing work not completed during the day, evaluation preparation and/or project completion.
